Knight of the Holy Order
I dragged the wife to it last night (I owe her one now ... which probably means a Sandra Bullock movie).
I wanted to sit there and be eight years old again, but it just didn't happen for me. The animation was excellent but the story needed more polish. I'm glad it wasn't a Shredder rehash and they tried to make something different, but I think two or three more rewrites and they would have been in good shape. The Leo / Raph conflict took WAY too much time.
Raphael is also my favorite character, but I felt his character was a little wrong in the film. I'll always remember him as the sarcatic "Peter Veinkman" turtle. That was kind of missing here. I understand what they were going for, but again I just don't think it worked. The most interesting character in this movie for me was actually April O'Neil who really didn't have a lot to do.
Eh, I can't believe I'm being so critical of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but I had hoped for a better revival picture.
