Technicolor just announced/released their new Color Assist software,originally previewed at NAB 2012, to pair with the Cinestyle picture style. https://www.technicolorcinestyle.com/ We were pretty excited about it when we saw it and hit them up to play around with it.
We've been working with them in perfecting the software and our videos are the first ones to be posted as examples on their blog (both the Dance Party and wedding demo).

So it's a pretty different paradigm for coloring plugins/standalone software from what we're used to. It CAN be compared to Magic Bullet as a similar workflow of using a standalone app with it, but it's much simpler (not dealing with secondaries) and uses metadata files instead of having the coloring info live in the editing software's project file.
A blog video detailing the use of the picture style and software together in practical usage is coming soon!
