Tay Zonday---Again

Can someone explain to me the reason Chocolate Rain was 'big' in the first place? I still don't get it.
 
Wow, how quickly the tides turn.
I guess with time we have to adjust for inflation - everyone will now have roughly 2 and a half minutes of fame.
 
What made this guy interesting before was that he was blissfully unaware of how big of a nerd he was for making Chocolate Rain. But now he's just trying, and it's just lame.
 
Gotta give the guy some credit, not for the music though.
I think we're all missing the main motivation behind all these internet "stars"
Money.
Im damn sure he knows by now he's making a complete fool of himself.
He's just willing to sacrafice his dignity to maybe make a little $$$.
Hey look at william hung from idol.
Now if im wrong and this guy seriously thinks his music is good, thats a whole 'nother story.
He's a student, im sure its $$$ he wants, not fame.
That said, that sh*t was horrible.
