Anyone have experience with this mic? I bought one for my Panasonic G6. It sounds much better then the camera's mics, but there is still a bit too much noise. So I'm going to use an external recorder.
But rather then return it, I was thinking about holding on to it for the GH4 I'll buy in 6 months or so. I wondering if the noise is from the G6's circuitry, and would be improved in the GH4? I love everything else about the Tascam mic, no batteries, very small, built in shock mount, can sit on a hot shoe or 1/4 inch screw, included dead kitten, low cut switch, very affordable.
What do you guys think? Anyone using this mic on other cameras with any success?
