Tascam DR-60D MKll , Recording noise problem

I've a Tascam DR-60d Mkll and i found it the recorder generate noise when recording audio. The noise is like a stepped pots.
It was fine when the reorder in stand by mode.
 
If that were his problem it would only happen when he changed the level, which may be the case but it sounded to fro his post that it was happening all the time.

OP please clarify.
