Tascam Dr 40 On Sale

i picked one up. have been borrowing a friends h4 for a while. i liked that it has real +4dbu line level input. not sure how much i'll be using it on "pro" gigs tho, i needed a small recorder for doing bike stuff. and will be nice to have a little backup recorder.

I think it will be good for my shorts, etc. I recently got a PSC Promix 3 as my mixer to put in front of it. Hopefully, that will help. I realized I am still learning, never done a gig (though I have been on sets but in different jobs.) So I think I am going to be volunteering to get some experience. I just need something to record the tracks. I just need to figure out the right cable to get to connect the mixer to the tascam. Also how to bag it. The promix came with a small bag, I am thinking of making something (like sewing a small pouch which allows the tascam to be placed flat and sideways in front of the mixer so the connections would be easier.) It is all an adventure!
