Tascam just won't quit on the new products. This will make every dslr shooter happy and provide super-pro level sound for $80. Actually, it seems like an interesting product and maybe this type of plug-on could gain some traction over time with improved features and XLR inputs. Alesis has a dock for the iPad, though lacking in the first generation, shows some promise for the future.
