Tarantino takling Jason Voorhees?

what ever happened to Freddy vs Jason vs Ash?

youd never catch me going to FvsJ, but vs Ash? I'm SOOOOOOOOO there!

as for QT? uh... sure, I maight even go see it, but for some reason, I'm kinda over QT, wasnt into the KB movies and now everything he does isthe next huge thing. :/

anyway, i remember he was trying to do the next bond movie, that actually might be kinda cool

I'm waiting on Inglorius Bastards.

I still dig QT; R-Dogs, Jackie Brown, Pulp Fiction and I confess KILL BILL isn't the 'best ****ing movie ever'; but, I have grown to appreciate it the more I watch it. One thing I am not getting is the Mandarin LAnguage Kung Fu movie he is doing. Huh?

Give me The Bastards!!!

Quentin has always been obsessed with Kungfu. It's trickled into all his movies over the years. I personally like all of his work. He has a work ethic and sense of perfection like no other director I know of. Been a fan for years....hence the name.....~reservoir~

As for ASH....we'll have to wait for the Evil Dead remake....then Evil Dead 4. They are both in pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-production. But at least we know they are coming. ~reservoir~

I'd love to see this. I typically don't like slasher movies, but this could be like wearing velvet.

The Vs Ash movie didn't go because Sam Raime wouldn't give them the rights to the Ash character. He still has stuff up his sleeve about that one I guess.

Pardon my French...but **** the *VS* movies altogether. As unoriginal as Hollywood is....those trendy bastards will start cranking out movies like the Studio Systems of the old days......(50 per year!!) We'll have Michael Myers VS Norman Bates........Chuckie VS Leprechaun..........Hellraiser VS Poltergeist.....Amityville VS The Haunting VS 13 Ghosts in a 3-way.......It'll never end!! Kinda like these god damn reality shows and Super Hero Movies. Thank GOD and ALMIGHT JESUS there have been a few flops like *Catwoman* and *Electra* to slow the process down a little. Now if we could just kill off the reality TV then all of humanity would prosper!! ~reservoir~

But really now; wasn't Abbott and Costello Meet (Insert Universal Horror Monster here) some killer ass films?

Hollywood sure knows how to regurgitate anything and make a ton of money in most cases. I swear, that evil empire could remake *Cabin Boy* and have the damn thing get nominated for best special effects, sound, art direction, and supporting actor. Maybe I should quit resisting and join the dark side. ~reservoir~

I thought Sam Raimi was for it, but he didn't own the rights to it. Some studio owns the rights to the Evil Dead franchise, correct? I thought it was the studios that disagreed about the project...

To my knowledge Sam Raimi is one of the few directors that owns the rights to all his films (Except for Spiderman, of course!!) I've heard them talk about several times on the Evil Dead 1, & 2 commentaries. Also Richard Kelly talked about getting Sam Raimi to let him use Evil Dead in Donnie Darko ( during the movie theater scene). See kids....you gotta' listen to them commentaries. I'm tellin' ya'....your missing out on a wealth of information!! As for the new Evil Dead Films, here's the latest:

http://movieweb.com/news/news.php?id=6704 - Sam Raimi interview

More rumors and interviews and crap can be found at Movieweb.com. Search for Evil Dead under the *Film News* category. ~reservoir~

I think I read that Bruce Campbell will just co-produce with Raimi the Evil dead remake with some director choose by them. And then they will look to put him somewhere in other film. Evil Dead without Campbell doesn´t deserve my fan fatal heart!

And for the Tarantino thing... Just imagine Jason walking lively through bambu trees and nearly puke of lauhging! Crouching Jason, Hidden Virgin...
