Tapes

Hey guys and girls, just purchased my DVX100A today...Great! Anyway, my question is, "do anyone know of a good website to order Panasonic miniDV tapes from?", I stopped by the Tape Warehouse store after picking my camera up and found out they no longer carry Panasonic brands.

please forgive the newbie if this question has already been asked.

Re: Tapes

If panasonic aren't immediately available, whats the next best tape with similar lubricants ?

Re: Tapes

I Live in canada in a place where quality tapes are unknown and bizarre. Just use a maxell or something is the response from the guy at the AV store. I buy most of my equipment from B&H Photo for one reason, Fast service I order on monday and it's in my hands by friday from new york to west coast canada with there regular cheap shipping rates. the more tapes you buy the cheaper they get, I think there average for pany's , I use the PQ's a buck cheaper but no problems from my end

advice I'd heed... bot Peak media and National Video Tape sell them all over the country...

Re: Tapes

Thanks to all for the useful info. I have another quick question...Are the DVM60MQ tapes good to use. I was concern because so far those were the only ones I seen at some retail stores I frequently shop at. The cover was Panasonic DVC DVM60MQ. Please help. Thanks.
