Tapes for dvx102ben

Sony or Panasonic. Are there any differences?
Currently I am using sony. as i used to be using pd 150

They have different lubes. One's wet, and one's dry. Don't mix them, but if you want to change, make sure you clean the transport heads properly before you do.

I am using Sony on my XM2, but when my DVX arrives I'll switch to Panasonic, just because it's the same brand as the camera....and I like the soft plastic cases they come in.

Currently in singapore, more people prefer sony tapes.
hmm, hence i might make a decision to stick to one.

one is wet , one is dry.
switch to panasonic. just wondering in a humid country like singapore.
will the dry one be better or the wet one.
