Efexone Well-known member Jul 14, 2009 #1 I got a sony HDR-FX1. it records HDV to miniDV. I'm looking for a external recording unit, preferably SD/CF cards. I'm sick of the tape workflow, and HDV. Ill need to stay with this cam for another year before getting a new one. any reccomendations?
