Tape from DVX not playing on SonyTRV900 after repair

Hi.

I have been using my Sony TRV900 to digitize tapes recorded using my DVX100 for the past year and a half. I started to get occasional dropouts from the Sony about 4 months ago which was not fixed from cleaning the tapes heads so I decided to send the camera out to be repaired at a place in CT (Presion Camera).
They replaced the drum on the TRV900 and brough the camera back to "full factory specifications.

After I received it back I tested the camera and now when I play back tapes from the DVX I get consistent drop outs and the audio goes in and out. This is even worse than before. At least before, I could edit out the drop outs. Now I cant even use the footage if I digitize with the Sony. So I sent the camera back to be rerepaired and it came back still unrepaired so I sent it back to them and it came back friday of last week and it is still doing the same thing. Both times I sent the camera back I even included a test tape from the DVX. All three times the paperowork says the camera was brought back to "full factory specifications". So now Im asking for my money back, since the camera is worse than before.

Any way, my question is this:
Is this common?
Also, I recorded a minute of video using the Sony TRV900 and that tape plays back fine on the DVX, but the DVX recorded tapes will not play back on the Sony. Why is this? Also has anyone else experienced a problem like this after getting a camera back from repair?
