tape compartment problems

i was cleaning the heads with a tape cleaner tape and after a couple secs i pushed stop and i pushed eject, but the tape stayed inside, it gave me auto off undocking lock, t and s reel lock. what do those waringings mean? am i screwed? what will it take to get the tape out? plz help.

I had a similar problem with my JVC GY DV500. Solution...I powered it down and then powered it back up while holding the "eject" button. Don't know if this will work with your cam.

Yeah a freind here at work told me to do that. thats the one thing i didnt try that nite but ill try it when i get home. thanx
