Maybe some of you already know this, but I just figured out that Tangent mapped all the features of the Elements into an app for Ipod and Android tablets.
It's called Element VS.
While it's not as comfortable as a real surface control, it's pretty responsive and in DaVinci is definitely more responsive than my old Avid artist was.
I'm planning to use it especially when traveling or on set. It only needs wifi and with the ipad it's possible to work under an "Ad hoc" network when wifi is not available.
For 99 euro it's not cheap...but maybe it's worth the money once you get used to it and work faster in DaVinci.
