Tall sticks

Anyone got any recomendations for tripod support that can go up to 6ft tall?

I don't know if it's possible for under $1000 but that is my budget.

Just thought it was worth asking anyway.

I have this tripod leg, what I like about it is how low you can get (it goes to hi-hat levels) and how tall, I'm almost 6ft tall and it goes well above my head. The problem is that this leg doesn't have a bowl, so you'll have to buy an adapter if your fluid head is not flat based:

Bear in mind that this Manfrotto bowl adapter DOES NOT come with an adapter for 75mm (yes, it looks otherwise), you have to buy the adapter separately:

The names are all mixed up and confusing, blame Manfrotto or B&H.

Mandrotto has a number of tripods that go higher than that… I don't have the model number in front of me, but the one I use most frequently has a cranked center column, and with the 503 head puts the camera as high as 80 inches or so with the legs fully extended…

Actually, mine is a 3246, which I think is now called the 028b (http://www.manfrotto.us/product/8374.58969.14773.0.0/028B/_/Triman_Camera_Tripod_Black_without_Head)… which is listed as going to 89 inches without the head…
