Take on plane - Letus

Hi, I've got to fly with the Letus this week which is not a problem in itself.

My dillema is whether the Letus and rails is a more rigid system built up on the camera or whether it's better packed away (albeit taking more space up.) in two cases (camera case and letus case.) rather than one case as a system.

(In either situation, carry-on.)

Any thoughts/experiences.

I've traveled both ways. Recently I took my XH-A1 and SGBlade down to Guatemala. We transported it as a unit - that way we didn't have to do any tweaking to the calibration of it. We used a nice Kata bag that had plenty of room and was small enough to carry on. It was a little heavy, but hey, I wasn't the one carrying it :)

i travel with my letus all the time. i never have used the case that came with the extreme,.
i put the adapter in a Burton 2L Canteen Pack

all padded up and put that in the top of my camera bag (HVX and Lenses)

The Rails and everything else goes in a Roller Bag and is checked on the plane.
