Table Top Dollies

Greg,

The new track casters are finished, and are being powder coated. I will receive them back from powder coating with the dollies. I will have them in hand in about 2 weeks. Hopefully sooner if the powder coater can get to them quicker should the products in line before the dollies run quickly. I will make a post when the dollies and track casters are delivered.

Thanks,
Seth Wise

Ozduc,

Actually... you are right. The terms and conditions were written by a friend of mine in law school. The current site was supposed to be more temporary than it's been, so I didn't pay much attention to what he wrote. The terms and conditions should not have that stipulation, and it will be removed. The web site is being redesigned, and my lawyer is writing the terms and conditions for the site. In the meantime, I will remove the rental stipulation from the terms and conditions page. However, I probably won't edit it until the end of next week. I'm working on a project that is due in a week with two weeks worth of work to do. Gotta pay the bills...

Be assured, there is no rental stipulation if you buy the dolly. The dolly is yours to do with what you wish. Use it, rent it...

I am sorry for the misinformation, but thank you for bringing it to my attention.

P.S. I own a Vinten Vision 5 fluid head which has a 100mm claw ball. Will I be able to mount this head on your skater dolly somehow? If not, I can probably attach a standard, 100mm hi-hat to your skater dolly somehow (which I also already own), although that would raise my lens height by several inches. But that's okay--I want this dolly no matter what!

I own the same thing. no issues just unscrew from base, and attach.
simple pimple.

Hey guys. I wanted to touch base and see how everyone here who has purchased an Axis Dolly is enjoying the product.

Also, I've had several of you ask me about offering a table top dolly that sits closer to the rolling surface. It isn't something I'd planned on doing, but I have patented a design for it, and if enough people are interested in one, I'll do at least one run for the Low Mode Dolly.

I'm going to need 20 orders to make the Low Mode Dolly worth making. The cost would be $1699 on the web site, but would be $1499 for anyone ordering from DVXUser. It will be made from half inch aluminum, and the mounting plate will sit about 1 inch off the rolling surface.

If you are interested, post a message here. If enough of you are interested, I will manufacture the Low Mode Dolly.

Regards,
Seth Wise

The first one looks awesome. I'd like to buy one if it's for sale but there's no mention of it on the website.

Ya these are all DIY kits. Otherwise I guess you could search for the user and strike a deal. I know I would buy one maybe at most 100 bucks over material. I know the Acrylic one in material is only 250.

We are about to finalize our very heavy duty skater, which will soon be available for sale in a small series.
It is crafted entirely from aluminium and stainless steel, with precision ball bearings, etc.

Made in Romania

Stay tuned for the latest pictures ...

We call it the "Red Skater"
