They fully explored his background a few weeks ago. He has a special understanding of the island, and he knows what the huge creature is. (But he isn’t telling.)

One theory that I read about Lost is that all of the characters are actually dead and trapped in something resembling purgatory. The Locke character is one hint...he was handicapped to a wheelchair and now he can walk...thats why he said a miracle had taken place. Also, Jack was following his dad and came close to him, perhaps they were on a spiritual plane(no pun) together. My only reservation is that I don't believe Disney would sanction a spiritual-religious show. I don't know, I just hope it doesn't take months to find out. I also think the many others stranded that we haven't met may end up being expendables in the long run.

I saw tonight episode, but not last week and What's weird is I taped Lost for my mom and I haven't watched it yet...There's a DVX in it?? Now I have to go watch it!

I watched it, and I am loving it. This week was Sayeed's backstory. He's got to be one of my favorite characters. But the biggest deal this week was that he took off on his own to seperate himself from the bunch due to his almost killing "Don Johnson" last week. (I dont know that Don Johnson looking guy's name). Anyway, Sayeed got caught in a booby trap in the jungle that was set by the french woman they heard that audio loop for that was 16 years old. Her name is Danielle and she got stranded on the island all those years ago with a research team when they were sailing off the coast of Tahiti or something. Anyhoo, she apparently has a son named Alex, but they didnt show him. I am wondering if Alex is the monster on the island.

Did I miss anything important?

oh yeah, it would seem Danielle is nuts since she admitted to killing all the people that had been stranded with her, including the so-called love of her life, Robert. I have no idea if Robert was the father of Alex, or if it even matters.

Maybe Locke and Danielle will hook up. Seems they would make a balanced couple, sort of. Age-wise and jungle-wise. Plus whatever the beasty thing is, it doesnt seem to want to eat Locke's innards and bash his skull.
