Frickin' ABC and their commercials . . . play the first 25 minutes commercial-free, and then break every four minutes after that for five minutes of ads. Grrrrrr . . . they've done that for as long as I can remember. Especially during James Bond movies back in the day . . .

I missed the showing of both of the episodes because I had a date. We went to see Shaun of the Dead and she got violently ill (not because of the movie) and I had to take her back early. ARG!

Im diggin on the "Survivors" question, but perhaps the Scifi/Paranormal will come into play and maybe explain it? I dont know. Even so, who cares? It s fun to watch!

I caught the Sat night double feature of Lost and I have to say, it was a really good show...I will just have to remember now to watch it on its appointed date and time. I am not so good at keeping up with serial programming as I am always forgetting to tune in. I guess that is why I have dvd sets of most things I like. :) I caught my first episode of The X-Files a couple years after its heyday was over, and then was like, trying to talk to people about it at work. What a maroon!

Was I the only one that thought the wide shot of the island on Lost looked suspiciously like Gilligan's Island?

YES! People are talking about it...I saw both showings of this show, I missed the beginning the first time. I hate normal tv, and this was definitely different!

The shot of the criminal girl in the water!!! Damn!

Can't wait for Wednesday! Great show!

P.S. Damn! She's like an older sister of Jessica Biel...Damn! ;D

The crash is starting to bug me. This plane broke apart at 40,000 feet, yet still landed intact enough -- in two pieces -- that lots of people survived unscathed and an engine was still running.

HMMMMMMMMMM.

But remember.... There is an element of supernatural going on here; perhaps they will explain this? I would have made it a smaller plane (Twin prop).

I'm with John on this one. We dont know enough about what's going on yet to say ...(cough) bullshit....

Did the plane really crash? Is it all setup?? Are they all really dead and dont know it? Who knows?

Im giving it the benefit of the doubt till I see more.

Did you notice the kid looking at the comic book with a polar bear and later a polar bear appears? Maybe its a hint of whats to come. Lost has elements of Planet of the Apes/Survivor/Cast Away and probably more science fiction books/movies. Interesting blend, refreshingly new, and thanks to Disney for not putting out another Cop/Lawyer/CSI drama.
