There's "fair use" and "parody" exception. In US law, anyway. Don't know so much about Canada.

The little friend one would be epic, but someone with a lil more PHOTOSHOP skillzzzzzzzz should probally do the final product!

needs to be 300dpi. I prefer Dark shirts.. probally a dark blue like the site would be good, what do you think?

Has anyone actually ordered a shirt from cafe press?

Dark shirts are fine for you guys up there in the land of the noon-time moon, but here in Dixie, white is a must . . . 8)

Just kiddin'. I prefer white or light colors, but dark blue is fine, too. No reason it can't be both, though.

well I wish that was true, but as with everything on my site its coming out of my pocket, and to get 2 colors of shirt printed up in each size costs 2x as much.  Maybe If they sell well then we can add some different colors.

I just find white to be so boring, just me though.

Well, I was making a joke, but it warmer, sunnier climes, white or light is much more wearable. It's mostly a utilitarian thing. Darkness absorbs heat.

Dark blue is OK. I just don't like black T-shirts so much. Too many black-jeaned, chained-walleted, Iron Maiden-T wearing mulletheads from my childhood, I guess . . .

Black or Navy Blue or White is all good with me. How do we get started on designs? Everyone submits ideas?

Even if we went with LIL FRIEND or any design for that matter it would be nice if a skilled individual did the actual artwork.

blacks not good. I have never seen a white t-shirt on set though.. well maybe I have.. but Blue is good in my books.. kinda would match the site no?

sounds good. 1 ink is fine, or we can do the whole photo thing like your IJ thing or whatever., the printers I talked to do that kinda thing and its pretty cheap.

IS this a 4 color process? I'm a litlle out of the loop on T-shirt technolgy :-/

When I was screening (Going way back) we used a 4 color process (The standard 4 colors) to print photographic quality images. The screen sizes were like 400 or something...

I'm not sure if we can use the SCARFACE image as if you charge monney it will be some lame copyright thing...

I doubt the PROD COMP will come knocking though... Then again this is a film site!

The place I do uses some sort of Transfer photo thing.. like cafe press but new technology so they can do it on dark shirts (cafepress can only do tranfers on white shirts)

I think the photo thing is kinda cool.. I wore a custom one at DVExpo and it went over well, and when I went up to take questions from the audience at Adam Wilt's fantastic DV conference It was a great aid cause I could just point to my chest :)

Anyway, I like the Little Friend design myself but not sure on how that would work legally...
