Syncing 50fps with Dual Audio problem.. Please help

Hi Guys,

First off if anyone can help with this it would be a life saver so thanks in advance.

We generally shoot 25p on 5D MKiii with a Tascam audio recorder. We wanted to start filming in 50fps for some weddings that require a lot of slow mo.

our problem is now, when we set the fcpx project proper tie to 50p and try to sync our footage with our tascam audio in plural eyes its not syncing up.

Is it something to do with the audio settings on our Tascam?

We tried setting our project properties in fcpx to 25p and then used plural eyes which plural eyes synced well but when we brought it back into fcpx, fcpx had shuffled the clips all over the place and all was out of sync.

We have tried googling this extensively and have come up with nothing. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Guys,

Just an update. I figured that the problem may have been the communication between the export from fcpx to plural eyes. So I dragged and dropped the files into plural eyes directly and it synced up perfectly. I exported the xml to fcpx and this time it brought the files in order but all the clips were black. I had to manually drag each file from the event browser and replace it on the timeline.

Does anyone know how to fix the black clip problem?
