Sync problems with captured footage in FCP

Hey, has anyone else experienced their captured footage being out of sync by about 3 frames or so? I am using the DVX-100a, and I have heard that the older version had some audio lagging issues (minor I'm sure), but the weird thing to me is that it is IN sync on the tape and OUT of sync on the computer. Any ideas? For the music videos I have been doing, it is a pain when I have to go back and fix the sync by hand, so any thoughts would be killer. Thanks guys. I love this forum by the way.

DVX100 is out a couple of frames. Here's more info:

The DVX100A should be in sync. Are you playing video out to your NTSC monitor/camcorder and listening using the computer speakers? Both video and audio need to be played using the same device or they will be out of sync.
if it's truly out of sync on the computer (video and audio) then make sure your computer isn't being slowed down in anyway or post a note at 2-pop.com
