I am experiencing big sync problems in FCP 4.1 with some footage shooted in progressive mode ( 25 p) with 2 cameras DVX100 PAL.
The image and the sound of each PAL camera is always in synch but both camera are not always in sync with each other and not always in sync with the sound recorded on a DAT.
The unsync is not regular and each time I try again by recapturing, the unsync is different !!!
(We made a test on an Avid with the same footage and we did not experience ANY sync pb. So the pb is not coming from the footage or DAT sounds)
I think that the pb is coming from the capture settings in FCP but I don t find any special settings for the DVX100 in PAL in FCP 4
So for the time beeing I am using the capture preset : DV PAL 48 khz.
