I'm primarily and Avid editor, but take FCP projects from time to time. Something i miss from the Avid though, is the sync lock so i can perform inserts or trims and the timeline will push/pull everything to the right of the edit to maintain sync on the tracks for which i've set to lock sync.
does final cut have anything comparable? locking the tracks is not what i'm looking for as i need to be able to edit them.
