Hi,
I got the following problem. I was run&gun recording an event (soccer, people cheering etc.) I had an external shotgun mic, and a zoom recorder that recorded everything permanently (a straight hour). then, i was running around and shooting here and there, often not longer than 10 seconds. therefore, i got around 70 clips. for some reasons, my trial of plural eyes got stuck (!!!) even though i still have 54 days left and says the trial is over. i need to do this rather quickly so pluraleyes is out of the question.
what i want to do is premiere (or any other software) to:
1. take the audio file as a base.
2. then, take all the other video pieces and line them up on the timeline according to the TIMESTAMPS of the single files. say, audio started at 12:30:00AM, and a video file started at 12:35:00AM, then i want the video file to be put on the timeline 5 min into the audio. of course, that implies that the zoom and the camera had to be synced at the beginning, and they were, so now they're only around 4 seconds off (i can move the files around by that little manually). i just dont want to have to go through 60 files and see which could fit where. i hope you understand what i mean?
thanks, jake.
