Swish, Swoosh, Whoosh!

Okay guys, where can I get a reasonably priced plug-in for that swooshing audio effect? Final Cut Pro please . . .

well....if you have time do to it yourself...get a really long stick and swoosh it passed a mic...no needing to buy high priced sounds.

i tried the swoosh thing but it blows too much air on the mic. I think recording some paintballs flying at you is pretty good though. They sound loud and fast, and they hurt if they hit you!

the sound effects at sounrangers sound like they did em with their ass, seriously. THey suck dont waste your money on that, a real cheap way to do this is by buying a 1/8 audio cable on both ends and connect the speaker output into the mic input on ur soundcard. Play some Counter strike and record it hahaha its easy and fun!

If you talk about their audio demos, then it's to be expected - they present them at low bitrates. Kind of makes sense, doesn't it? If they didn't, they would probably have their FX used without getting any profit. And there is no way to prove it.How often do you hear an effect in a film and go "Oh, that's from THAT FX collection I have" (that actually happens to me quite often when watching indie films, but that's not the point).
And shouldn't this be in the audio forum anyway? :)

Naww.... I'd classify it as an effect.

Anyways, sounddogs.com proves to be awesome, I'd try them first.

But you could keep the mic far away and try the swoosh thing, those swooshes are pretty loud.
