Swing away hinge for matte box

I'm going to find myself more and more in this forum. The prices of some of those little stuff are so darn expensive. I'm embarking on making myself a swing away hinge for my Cavision matte box. Any suggestion on hardware store or online site where I can buy some of those pieces?

There are a lot of creative people here that can help you out. For starters, Could you post a mug shot of this mattebox. a left, right, and bottom shot of this thing. I'd like to give it a shot in giving you some ideas.

I want to see if the sides and bottom has protrusions from where to mount a DIY hinge.

I just made my own rail mount from a shower curtain rod. LoL.

Thanks so much for trying to help. Here's the matte box that I have. Here are more pictures of the matte box that I use. On the bottom of the matte box are two screw holes for adapting to a support bracket.

Any takers? I've been to a couple of local hardware store and they don't seem to have some of the things I needed...or perhaps I don't know what to look for. Here's another picture of what I'm trying to create.

Well, I'm happy to announce that I got my DIY swing away arm (or whatever it's called). The total cost is under $20, well, less than $10 if I don't want to prime and spray it black. For my purpose, this is fine.
