I tamed this one down, since the mods deleted my "Bird Flu" one, back in the day.........That one was good, and took me a lot of Photoshop time.

No but, really. Twenty Three suspected cases just broke out here in Scotland, now i'm a little freaky. :)

Suicide pill's anyone? Or should I just stop re-watching Season 3 of 24..
 
Dude, I just went to have my oil changed, and the girl behind the counter was sniffling and coughing up a storm. Of course, she had already taken my credit card before I noticed. When she handed it back to me I froze for a few seconds before taking it gingerly by the edges and then wiping it on my sweater. I have pretty bad asthma so something like the swine flu could actually kill me.

Take care of yourself. Start Vit C regimen (heard it helps, no harm if it doesn't). Go to the doctor if you start having symptoms. They might start you on anti-virals, though I doubt it.
 
No fear, I've already got my.. yeah.
There's a possible outbreak in Cardiff, UK this morning. Which is just down the road from me.

Time to get to 'ze' chopper. :)

Suspected swine flu victim 'in isolation'

A WOMAN suspected of having swine flu has spoken of her experience while she awaits test results.

The woman, who lives in Cardiff, is suspected of having the virus after holidaying in the United States

She said that she began to feel ill the day before she was due to fly back to Britain from a holiday with her boyfriend in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. And during the flight she began to vomit.

The woman said she and her partner were sick for about a week after returning home to Cardiff before she contacted NHS Direct on Sunday after seeing media coverage of the swine flu outbreak in Mexico.

"They rushed a doctor around to give us swab tests and they told us we have to stay in our flat and can’t come into contact with anyone else until we get our results, which will be 48 hours," she said.

Although she is feeling better now, the woman told Real Radio she is still worried about the prospect of having the virus.
