"svchost" is in my PC :( Help?

So I dloaded an exe file last night (i know, i know) and now I have this pesky svchost thing in my start up function and cant get it off my system. Its screwing things up. When I try to remove it says its running and cant be deleted when running, but I'm unable to stop it from running.

Help?

dude... svchost is the core of Windows, no problem. Unless you are reffering to the virus which is called scvhost I think.
 
true.... but....... it could have been worse. ;) it could have gone to god knows what page.
 
Guess I didnt explain correctly. That exe file is now starting limewire every two seconds and wont let me stop it, even by going into my startups area. I cant even remove the exe file. This is all in that new svchost file thats there now. Thoughts?
