Survivor Nicaragua 3D Transitions Achieved How?

Anyone remember the Survivor Nicaragua challenges and the 3D video transitions between shots? Those were awesome. Anyone know how they did it?

Those clips are really long...tell us at which point (minutes/seconds) the transitions occur.

If you're talking about the speed up effect near the beginning of clip 2, it's probably Twixtor.

The times should be linked in the link, for when the effect/transition occurs. 7:20 and 8:20 though if the links dont work.

The first one is mostly just a speed thing, second one is a swish-pan, one of the staples of editing.

Basic time remapping is all you should need. Then it's simply making a smooth transition between the 2 shots.

You shouldn't need Twixtor for this.
