Blaine
Mr. Hollywood
This is a movie I would never have gone to except that my daughter was dying to see it. We went to a screening a the WGAw Theater last night and I've got to say I thought it was funny. I went in expecting stupid and that's exactly what I got. It was rude, crude and socially unacceptable but I couldn't stop laughing. Going in, I told my daughter that I'd say it was good if it could give me 5 laugh-out-louds. I figured I was safe. Well, I met that quota in the first six minutes. In spite of myself I really liked this movie. I can't even believe I'm saying this. Kelley (my daughter) predicts it's going to make a shitload of money and I'm sure she's right. When it hits the theaters I'd recommend seeing it...maybe not with your mother, unless, of course she's a big fan of dick jokes.
The Q&A with Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg was damned near as funny as the movie itself. I can't believe they wrote the first draft for this movie when they were 14 and 13 respectively.
