Super fast motion

I filmed a clock for 45 seconds and i want to speed that up to take 5 seconds or so. I put it to 400% speed but it doesnt look at all howi want and its too slow. I want it to be somewhat smooth, and fast... it looked pretty good when i fast fwded through that the footage but when i speed it up in premiere it just doesnt look how i want it. Any ideas? Premiere Pro 1.5 w/Magic bullet

If you want a 45 second clip to play in 5 seconds, then you shoul speed it up to 900%. (45/4 = 9). If it doesn't look smooth, then you should try a 24fps timeline.
