Super Bowl Xl

Well I am and still remain a SEAHawks Fan, The game was a good and I am not here to ***** but there were some bad calls on both sides of the ball. I don't know if you changed those calls it would have changed the game. But I'm just saying watch the replays.

I think a couple of unfortunate drops versus a couple of amazing picks is what made the game go like it did.

To quote my mom, "if they played this game tomorrow it would probably have a totally different outcome... football always seems to be determined by whether or not it's your day to win".

Funny... my mom isn't into sports at all but I think that still says it about right.

I agree with Matt, if it was played tomorrow it could have gone the other way. That being said, screw football, the season is over, and just 9 days until pitchers and catchers report for baseball season.

I smell world championship #27 on the horizon...

Spoken in true defeat.

This game came down to three plays(and not any calls made by the officials):

1. Jackson Offensive Pass Interference.
2. The 75 yard touchdown run
3. The TD pass to Hines Ward from Randle El.

Pittsburg played with audacity tonight. Pittsburg played tougher. Any reference to calls made by the officials is an insult and typical of poor sportsmanship.

Pittsburg was the better team. Pittsburg beat 4 of the top team's this year:

Cincinnati
Indianapolis
Denver (My team)
Seattle

With all the wins coming away.

Seattle's 5 - 17 3rd down conversion rate was horrible; The 7-70 Penalties incurred by them did not help matters and the 3-14 sacks by the the Pitts D also hurt them.

(Good for Cowher)

i agree with that completely.....theres no way anyone can blame the whole thing on officiating.

The seahawks missed 2 fieldgoals and were rediculously bad managing the clock...at the end of both halves

Seattle played like a high school team with a sugar rush.... They simply didn't come to win the super bowl and it showed in their play..... Pitt however looked hungry and played like they wanted it. Was it an amazing game? No, not in my opinion but there were two Super Bowl records set which is cool to watch live.

That first quarter was so sloppy. The two week break is too long. Takes all the momentum out of the playoffs.
