super basic QT / DVD question - PLEASE HELP!

so, have a 13min piece, cut on FCP 5.1, shot on 24p, 4:3,

can someone tell me how to get the absolute best quality output to DVD, I'm a techno-moron, so super basic, setting by setting guidance resulting in a hig quality QT to be bright into iDVD would be so tremendously appreciated.....

the easiest way is to export your movie using Export>Quicktime Movie, drag into iDVD burn. The best way is to go through compresser, using Export>Using Compresser. Then choose highest quality, but because you have 24p you may need to adjust some settings. After compresser take it into DVDStudio, as far as I know iDVD does not support demuxed files.
