Ok guys, I've done a search on this forum but I can't seem to get a deffinitive answer. What color filter to use when shooting a sunrise? Some are saying 5600 others are saying 3200. Any help would be appreciated. Other thoughts? Polarizer? Grad filter? Thanks

I would say most deffinetly use a polarizer and a grad filter, this will allow you to control the sky and keep it from blowing out. As for the color balance, setting it to 3200K will probably give you a blue cast, therefore defeating the warm sunrise look. Set it to 5600K and it will give you the correct color, but it will probably be a little warm because I believe sunrises are a little warmer than mid-day sun. You could also white balance through a 1/4 CTB gel in the runrise light and it will warm it up even more.
