Just trying to set up a contingency...
We've got a Key West based team doing the national '48' film challenge next
weekend. I'm writing friday and shooting saturday, but I'm flying to LA sunday
and on to Taiwan monday while the post crew and director wrap up the film...
With my flight, we've got a REALLY interesting situation to add some really
trick production value to the shoot. An 'iconic' establishing shot or quick bit,
shot in LA on sunday and cut into a 48 hour film that includes mostly Key West
footage, would be a heck of a thing
Shooting and ftp'ing a clip back to Florida
would be a pretty trivial technical issue.
If we can arrange a dvx/hvx cam and camera op for a few hours sunday, in LA...
It may be worth writing both me and LA into the story, depending on what we
pull on friday.
Anyone interested in possibly attempting to pull of a really trick bit of filmmaking
next weekend? Heck, I'd fly out with my cam if we can arrange for a couple extra
hands 'on the ground' for when I arrive...
