someone told me that sundance doesnt accept anamorphic movies into the festival.

that cant be true. i looked at their submission guidelines and it just said something about their preferred format due to their use of digital projection is: HDCAM, non anamorphic, ntsc.

anyone know?
 
Well, as someone who's had bad experience with festivals showing their films in the wrong aspect ratio, stay on the safe side and send everything as 4:3 letterbox. Cuts down on the idiot factor.
