Suggestions : What To Sell On My Wedding Website

Hi all,

I am getting my wedding videography website to be published soon. Since this website of mine will be primarily providing information on my range of services for wedding videography, I would also like to make some side income by selling wedding-related merchandise to couples that are of value to them. I am targeting only clients from my own country. So shipping merchandise overseas is not a concern.

Any ideas what kinds of merchandise, or services I can sell that wedding couples will be compelled to buy? How about discount travel tickets for the couple to a honeymoon somewhere? But I have to collaborate with a travel agency. What do you think of this idea? Any other ideas? Thanks in advance.

Andrew- why not just make the best damn wedding vids you can and charge more so you don't have spend time and resources on the other stuff?

seems like you're losing focus with the other products. keep them focused on that family treasure you're making. if you throw in stuff like h-moon, wedding favors , and teeth whitening, they'll remember all the other stuff they have to budget for!!
 
Hi Alexa. Thanks for replying my thread so quickly. As you know, weddings are seasonal even in my country. But with the Internet I can potentially get sales 24 hours a day, 7 days a week & I can be sleeping, or playing golf or even shooting a wedding video somewhere while extra revenue comes in. Now isn't that making money work hard for me?

Well, actually, it's not a lot of work. I just have to put up the products only once on my website & the automated system will be in place. I don't really have to monitor it that frequently, except to see how much revenue is coming in & probably some traffic analysis.

Besides, wouldn't this give incentive for couples to stay longer on my site & perhaps even buy something? Or added value to customers? Anyway, these are just my thoughts. Yes, definitely, I'll continue to excell in wedding videos. We'll see how it goes.
