Unfortunately overexposure is pretty much permanent. White is white and there is really no way to bring back any detail from pure white overexposure. :(

If it makes you feel any better, I don't think its really that noticeable.
I like the left side of the person and the only really over exposed part I see is on the banner in the background which fortunately is pretty far in the background to standout.

Actually I just thought of something ...
try using the new clone tool. You could clone a piece of that banner slightly to the left and if the camera isn't moving it would be a piece of cake.

Personally, I think the shot looks fine. You can maybe use curves to tweak it abit but other than that, i see nothing wrong with the exposure. I couldn't resist but to play with it a bit.
