Suggestions on Digital Cameras

My parents have given me the task of finding them a decent digital camera. Nothing crazy,something relatively inexspensive, point-and-shoot, and an easy way to get images on their computer.

My idea was one of the low-end Kodak cameras with the docking bay, I figured that would be simple, and I figure Kodak is a reputable brand.

Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance for any advice.

What's inexpensive to you? $150-$500? There are so many great deals on digital cameras out. The prices varies. What's your price limit?

Any Canon digital elph is good.
