Suggestions for carrying case / bag

I just picked up some used lowel lights today to replace a kit I used to keep in my trunk for last second on-location interview gigs.

My old kit used to all fit in a Lowel hard case, including stands, cables, umbrellas, etc. It was great and always there if I needed to grab some lights for a shoot last second.
Unfortunately, that case is now gone (due to circumstances beyond my control). But even if I still had it, the light stands I picked up today are impact brand and ever-so-slightly longer than the Lowel ones. Fairly certain they would not have fit anyway.

So now I'm on the search for a way to conveniently pack this up to carry on location when needed. I'm actually having a hard time finding something decent and affordable. Plenty of hard cases will fit the lights, but not the stands. Plenty of soft light stand/tripod cases would fit the stands but seems like a bad idea to also transport the actual lights. Was this Lowel setup I used to have really unique in its portability? What do people use for carry and transport these days?

I suppose I could fit the stands in a large tripod bag I have, and put the actual lights in a hard case or camera bag with dividers. But that seems like such a hassle to carry in addition to my pelican case of camera gear, and sometimes these gigs have me going into office/apartment buildings. These are minimal set up gigs, I'd like to avoid multiple trips to the car.

I have a lowel kit and even though everyone talks down their stands, I love the tiny ones for how portable they are.

I've yet to find a good solution for what you're talking about.

I have found this page though, and have been tempted a few times by bags on here.

Not exactly what you're talking about, and not as portable as the lowel case, but some of them looks pretty helpful

Could you not use a Storm or Pelican case with wheels and handle and just bungee cord the stand case to the Pelican, and roll it all in?

That's my plan B I suppose, but I really miss the convenience of the lights being in one briefcase slung over my shoulder. Like I said, I'm already wheeling a pelican full of camera gear and a tripod/monopod bag.

I'm going to check out padded luggage carriers later today hopefully.

Look at the plastic camp trunks available at any department stores- should be long enough to hold stands. Some of them have wheels built in. They'll hold a lot of Lowel gear.

I have to measure again, but I think the longest is just under 30". I'm pretty sure they are bigger than Lowel stands.
