Suggestions for 5"-6" LCD video monitor?

I want to purchase an LCD monitor (around 5") to use with a camera crane and my DVX 100A, so I can see my framing and focus. Anybody have a recommendation for a manufacture and model that provides good picture quality at a fair price?

Thanks

When I bought mine i decided to take the cheapo route, but this has worked fine as I am just using it for framing.

The one i bought I got at Fry's and it is for a in-car DVD player, and it does 16x9; I had to rig my own DC power but no big deal. Cost me like $150

It is a Clarion VMA6593

I was in the market for one, but when I compared its usefulness with my actual needs I decided to use a laptop instead.

here's some pics of mine, its a 7" monitor and i use a External battery pack that I vel'ed to the back of the monitor. little lcd's are nice, but they in no way take the place of a real monitor or a eyepiece.

Try a 7" LCD/DVD player combo for your crane. Wally World has some with supposedly 16:9 for $99.
I use an 8" Polaroid that I bought at Target the day after T-giving for $109+5% sales tax. Not only is the screen nice and big, I can watch dvd's between shoots...only good if I have external power as the dvd player is a HOG; go figure, in theory the LCD is the energy burner, but just using the LCD, no player, and jacking in vid from my panny I get 3 hrs+ on the monitor. But use the dvd and KABOOM, barely able to get through a long feature lengh dvd.
P.S. Buddy of mine cruised feebay for a portable dvd player whose screen was functioning but would play dvds. He paid $38 plus shipping for a 16:9 capable 7".

Matthew,

Yeah, its a Cavision 4x4 and the lens has that Chrosziel mod. the mattebox works with out any mod but you have to zoom in about 6x, but I read thats the same on the chrosziel mattebox. Hope that helps.
