Suggested Case?

Re: Suggested Case?

pelican 150 about $150. Excellent hard case. even has wheels and a handle if you want to pull it.

Re: Suggested Case?

The Pelican 1550 is $100 at cases4less.com, or $219 with wheels and handle.

You could also get a Dosko Sport Ex-Large for $65, which is basically the same thing as a Pelican 1550.

Re: Suggested Case?

greeches,

is your case going to just be for a DVX or a DVX&ACCESSORIES?
a pelican 1450 would be great for a DVX, batteries, filters but it would be completely full. you may want to go with a bigger case (1550) if you wanted to add a microphone. so list out everything you want in to put in your case. just a reminder going to big is never a bad thing :)

I've got one that I use for my prompter. It's really basically the same thing as the Pelican, just less expensive. Same sturdy bulletproof type of construction, same waterproof o-ring seal, same pick 'n' pluck foam, and about the same size as the 1550. I'd recommend it.

Re: Suggested Case?

My DVX was bought as a kit & the recommended case was Pelican 1600.
I have been able to fit Camera, 4 Batteries, Charger, 10 Tapes, Remote, Various Leads & my little Panasonic NV-DS55 which uses the same Batteries etc. It is large, but I would kick myself if I couldn't fit all my bits & pieces in. Still a little space left which I am sure to fill.
