Sufficient?

I have an opportunity to puchase a "Mac Mini" at a substantialy low price. It's a1.25 GHz with 256MB of ram. Could anyone tell me if that would be sufficient enough to run FCP 5 reasonably. If not, what should I get?

your close but not quite. BTW 1.25 GHz single processor would be VERY s l o w.

and that is nowhere near enough RAM.

I know someone editing with FCP on a Mac Mini just fine. Max out the RAM and add a 250GB FW 800 drive, poof, ready to go. Not much RT, but, he's making money with it.
