Such thing as lightweight zoom to match cooke primes?

I'm going to mix set shots w/ interviews lit-up and catching people 'in the field' while being agile and mobile. I'm shooting w/ an amira or alexa, so I'm wondering if anything jumps out at you guys that makes sense.

Because there is a b-cam alexa mini, I'd consider using the same lens for both (if it makes sense). I was considering the fuginon mk's because they are so light . I think the zoom's

I don't think this is really a case of 'matching' because they won't, it's more 'complimenting'

Has anyone done something similar to this?

The Fuji MK's are native E mount and Fuji X-mount and Duclos has a conversion kit to make them FZ, but I don't think anyone figured out a way to make them into PL or EF.

Indeed, would be impossible.

If a person really wants to use those zooms then they need to go with another camera such as Sony FS7 / F5 / VENICE, or Kinefinity Terra, etc

Why not look at the Angenieux EZ-1 and EZ-2? Excellent lenses, better than the inexpensive Fujis and still lightweight and look spectacular? If I had the $$, I would buy the set but should be available for rental at a pretty decent cost. Not as cheap as the Fujis but shooting with the Arri cameras, you don't want to just "get by" with cheap glass, right?

I can actually recommend the Zeiss CZ.2 Cinema Zooms for that. I've used mine alongside S4s and they've intercut really nicely. The bokeh from the Zeisses is a little smoother, but microcontrast is very similar between the Cooke primes and the Zeiss zooms, so they play very well together.

Thanks guys, I actually was mistaken, I meant the Cabio's. .. 19-90 ... i used the mk's on my sony (and loved it) DUH! ...

Angenieux weighs in at; 4.7 lb / 2.2 kg . This also has 15-40 and 30-90 flavours

Zeiss : 5.5 lb / 2.5 kg . 28-80mm - also has the 15-30mm flavour weighing just slightly more.

Fugi Cabrio; With servo: 5.95 lb (2.7 kg)
Without servo: 4.85 lb (2.2 kg)

It's not all about weight though - I'm going to have to think about this - it looks like it's up to these 3 choices, the fuginon is actually more expensive - I'd rent 2 for both camera's...if I go the other route like zeiss for example, one camera would have the wide zoom and the other tighter, which is a decent way of working, but has less options at the same time.

I'll have the time to light interviews in mostly nice settings and I want the most pleasing/flattering images possible of the guests when it comes to colour/contrast the cook look. The zoom setups will be some on the fly, some with pre-planning, most without much if any lighting.
