subtitles font and size?

[Cineaste]

Hey guys,

I am doing english subtitles for my film and was wondering if anyone knows what's the standard font and size for subtitles.

Thanks,

Ed.

I imagine it may have to do with the project size settings, but I don't think I'd choose anything larger than a 12 sized font. Also stick with a nice easy to read, like Arial.

Thanks Envision.
