If I'm feeling tired or watching with impatient people, I'll go dubbed. It's actually amusing a lot of the time to go between the versions and see how inflection can be all messed up and how bad voice talent can be.
Subtitles are usually the way to go to get the real feel for the piece. However in many action movies, you need to re-watch a scene or two (or the whole thing) to make sure you get everything.
