Sub frame synching

is it possible to sync sound to picture in Final Cut in a sub frame manner? I think I read somewhere that it was possible to adjust the sound tracks at 1/4 frame intervals or something to that effect..

anyone know if this is possible? I have to sync up a music... well it is done.. but it looks to be like 1/2 a frame off or so

You can actually sync to 1/100 of a second.
Open FCP Help.
Search for SubFrame There's a dozen or so hits.
Lots of info. Volume 2, Chapter 11 in manual according to help files.

I sure you meant this, but it is 1/100th of a FRAME....

Inside the viewer, zoom in as close as you can. Hold the SHIFT key down while moving the playhead. Set an IN and the frame will adjust to that point.
