OK I think I got all of that worked out so here's another off the wall question which may or may not be stupid, this one concerns DVD Architecht.
Is it possible with the new version of DVDA to create "menu selection icons". A good example is the Once Upon a Time in Mexico DVD. When you move the selector from one item to another, there's a little scorpion symbol next to the item you are selecting. Would you just create a transparent mask of the object next to the selection and have it highlight when you pick that option? Just wondering because I think that looks really pro.
squid, I've been wondering about that too. I use Encore and if I put a little icon (scorpion) next to the text, it highlights fine but when it isn't highlighted, the icon is still there and it's black, even though there isn't anything on that layer.
Ok Jumping in the middle (or the end) of this & afraid of sounding a bit ignorant. . .I'm getting ready to build a DVD to be duplicated and distributed. I shot it 24p (DVX100A), editing it in vegas 6.0 and going to build it in DVD Architect 3.0.
If I keep it 24P the whole way through are older DVD players (& or non progressive) going to be able to handle 24 progressive?
