Stunning 1906 San Fransisco footage - days before the quake

Dark Side of the Camera
This is extraordinary - a camera mounted in front of a SF cable car on market street in 1906.

I found it very touching since not only most of the buildings you see where destroyed a few days after the shot, but a lot of the people you see, just didn't know that they have only a few days left till they die.

What an amazing moment captured on film. Very interesting and creepy.

On a side note, there were simply no regards for the the way people drove back then. Horse drawn buggies and cars cutting in and out traffic in front of cable cars and the like. Funny stuff.

Come to think of it, not much has changed.

First it somehow felt like one of the cutscenes of the game Mafia I/II, where they have a limited number of 3D people and cars with few variations - something was wrong, but I could not nail it down.
Than I checked the number plates. Looks like they had only a few cars recruited that are circling the cable car like a bunch of sharks.
